Summary / Objective

Lippert Components is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to support the growth of various brand profiles across multiple social platforms specifically, not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tik Tok, etc. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will work with the Social Media Manager to develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers. You’ll be tasked with executing various social strategies aimed at growing pages, increasing web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

Essential Functions

  • Research audience preference and discover current trends

  • Create planned content calendars to compliment various campaigns and schedule content

  • Create engaging text, image, and video content

  • Edit assets and video as needed with a focus on designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

  • Management of online/social reviews platform and UGC sourcing

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

  • Facilitate online conversations with followers and respond to queries, or escalate as needed

  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers via promotions and competitions

  • Self-organized: Updates and maintains tasks in the department’s project management system

  • Work with various internal marketing teams to source assets and facilitate discovery

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills

  • Work experience as a Social Media Coordinator is preferred

  • Expertise in multiple social platforms

  • Ability to deliver creative content via graphic design and video is a plus

  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical approach to data/results

  • BS degree in Marketing, Media, or relevant field

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position that allows for flexible work from home days, however with the “always on” world of social media, it is expected that this individual is flexible and consistently connected to channels as needed.

Travel

Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
