We are looking for an Operations Manager for our Elkhart, Indiana plant to contribute to our Clean Air business group. In this role you will champion the development of the people, processes, and capabilities within the plant. Our top candidate will have demonstrated experience managing operations within a medium sized plant independently.

  • Develop and maintain a culture and environment of continuous change and improvement by incorporating various Lean strategies throughout the manufacturing organization.

  • Direct the use of facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and future manufacturing requirements, including department budgets and guidelines, plant layout and improvement, and capital expenditure programs.

  • Ensure products are manufactured on time and according to customer quality requirements to ensure the customer delivery schedule is met.

  • Plan and manage delivery requirements, inventory levels, labor productivity and asset utilization.

  • Manage the department with the appropriate communication of goals, performance feedback, and rewards and recognition to provide optimum employee relations.

Required Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Business discipline.

  • At least 10 years of experience within the operations area of a large manufacturing environment.

  • At least 5 years of management experience.

  • Automotive industry experience highly preferred.
