We are looking for a Materials Manager for our Elkhart, Indiana plant to contribute to our Clean Air business unit. In this role, you will guide the materials function in the achievement of their overall objectives of high customer satisfaction and efficient operation.

  • Deliver high supplier performance rating with customer.

  • Direct all activities of Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Purchasing, Production Control, Master Scheduling and MRO Crib.

  • Develop and maintain effective Materials Control systems (MRP, Bar-coding, customer delivery system requirements).

  • Direct and Manage production planning schedules and supplier delivery plans to meet delivery targets and control inventory.

  • Prepare, control, monitor departmental budget, provide sales forecast and earned hour projections for plant budgets.

  • Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience. APICS certification desireable.

  • At least 4 years as Materials manager, preferably in automotive industry.

  • Metalworking or other manufacturing experience-not process industry.

  • IATF, TS, and ISO experience.
