Boyd Corporation Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift in Elkhart, Indiana

Summary:

Responsible for asset maintenance and preservation. Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair. Successful candidate must demonstrate proactive nature and attention to detail. Perform all duties assigned by management. Install and evaluate equipment modifications to ensure maximum effectiveness. Follow all OSHA safety programs along with corporate safety policies and best practices.

Demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting ability - industrial, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Demonstrated ability to work safely with 480v.

Comply with Lockout/Tagout program.

Maximize equipment - operational, safety and reliability.

Operate with sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.

Must have own industrial maintenance and troubleshooting tools. Multimeter and basic hand tools required.

Ability to run conduit, move machinery and do basic rigging required.

Be part of a winning team. Work with others to complete goals.

Must work well with little supervision.

Hours are 10pm - 6am, Sunday through Thursday. Some overtime.

Competitive Pay. $.75 shift premium. Eligible for $2/hr attendance bonus.

Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance training.

Minimum of 3 years electrical maintenance in production environment or 5+ years in industrial maintenance.

Ability to repair all plant machinery - safely and within a timely manner.

Pneumatic and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair. Repair systems with up to 2000psi.

Strong communication skills - written and verbal.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced enrivonment.

Experience with MS Office platforms (Excel, Word)

Experience with CMMS.

Standard plant environment. Involves lifting moderately heavy items (up to 75 pounds) and eriods of standing and routine ladder climbing.

Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance training.
