ManpowerGroup Machine Operator in Edinburgh, Indiana

Start your manufacturing/production career with Sonoco Flexible Packaging. This growing and expanding company is a leading manufacturer in Edinburgh and they are looking for dedicated team members to come on board!

You must be open to ALL shifts. Being that it is a unionized environment, shift preference is based on seniority and any shift is possible. Typically, employees begin on day shift or afternoon shift and eventually go to night shift after they are fully trained. However, you could end up on any shift, it just all depends on what the higher seniority employees prefer in their job classification.

You will be valued and recognized for your manufacturing skills and team work ability. This is an opportunity you will not want to miss.

What is the job?

  • Manufacturing: Making flexible packaging for the food industry

  • Machine Operation: Running the slitter and printing machines

  • General Warehouse: shipping and receiving products and inventory

  • Forklift Operator: Moving stock, freight and other inventory

  • Maintaining a clean work environment to food grade specifications.

What you bring to the job?

  • 2-5 years manufacturing experience

  • Great team work attitude

  • Proven attendance record

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to successfully complete a Background check and Drug screen
