THE CENTECH GROUP Cyber Training Specialist in Edinburgh, Indiana

THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking an experienced, successful on-site Cyber Training Specialist. The person in this position will establish instructional design and development criteria using Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC’s) System Approach to Training (SAT) and design instructional materials for full-length residence, distance learning and mobile team training courses. This position is located at the Atterbury-Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Edinburgh, Indiana.

**This is a non-key personnel proposal position opportunity, that is contingent upon award.

Ensure Effective Communication

  • Facilitates cyber team and client meetings effectively

  • Keeps cyber project team well informed of changes within the organization regarding the Cybertropolis Technology Environment Platform (CTEP)

  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations as required by the Program Manager (PM) or Government

  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

  • Resolves and/or escalates technical cyber issues in a timely fashion

Promote Leadership

  • Challenges other cyber employees to develop as technicians while serving as a role model and mentor

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change

  • Manages the cyber training processes effectively

Promote Teamwork

  • Effectively uses each cyber team member to his/her fullest potential

  • Motivates cyber team to work together in the most efficient manner

  • Mitigates cyber team conflict and communication problems

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Must possess a moderate to extensive knowledge in cyberspace operations and have a moderate to extensive background in training and capabilities development as a training developer/instructor

  • Must be fully knowledgeable with all associated platform support and hardware of the CTEP

  • Must meet the physical demand rating of light, lifts on an occasional basis a maximum of 25 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 10 pounds.

  • Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Must acquire an interim Top Secret (TS) clearance within 30 days of hire. The employee shall maintain an active TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance

  • Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle license

  • Must meet U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M IAT III Certification requirements

  • Must to be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and to keep a flexible 40 hour week

Highly Desired

  • Possession of a practical knowledge of U.S. Army operational and tactical Full Spectrum Operations

  • Experience coordinating with other Joint, U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), inter-agency and academia schools for current cyberspace operations training and supervision plans (TSPs), program of instructions (POIs), and course materials
