Job Title: Manufacturing Section ManagerSUMMARY Develops and implements manufacturing departmental policies, procedures, and systems. Plans, coordinates, directs, and assigns manufacturing activities to achieve yearly and future department plans. Educates and trains team members in the areas of policy, procedures, reporting, objectives, and control. Evaluates and develops team members. Responsible for the planning, organizing, and controlling of all production operations, as well as the conformance to quality of all end products and the economical application of process control techniques. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.Coordinates manufacturing activities with engineering, production control, quality control, and maintenance to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor, machines, and equipment.Reviews and analyzes production, quality control and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.Works with engineering personnel to develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate production problems and improve product quality.Develops or revises standard operational and manufacturing practices and procedures.Supports customer requirements communication problem solving.Directs training and education system for Members to improve work performance. Educates Members regarding Company policies and procedures.Promote 3-Pillar (achieve and maintain Bronze level).SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDCommunication / Interpersonal Skills - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write reports and give formal presentations. Planning (Production, Manpower, New Product Launch) Effective Problem-Solving Skills - Define problems, establish causes, and select solution. Good Organizational SkillsIATF Experience Good understanding of Process Planning Sheets, FMEAs Capability studies.Experience in the Automotive Industry with working knowledge of CNC Controls, Welding Processes, Machine Tools etc. (Drivetrain Assembly and Component experience a plus) Experience with Automated Assembly and Test EquipmentTPS ( Production System)Personal Computer Experience with a good understanding of Microsoft software packagesAbility to lead a team to improve 7 main KPIs and develop standards for all manufacturing.EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCEAssociate degree is required.A Bachelors degree is preferred.Submit resume to: adihr@aisindrive.com
