Aerotek CNC Programmer in Connersville, Indiana


This company is a manufacturer for Rotary displacement blowers and centrifugal compressors. For many years, they has outsourced the 2-8 inch gear diameter blower components that requiring CNC machining and now they are bringing all that business in house. Previously, the plant supported all the 9-26 inch gear diameter blower components.

The reason this position is open is because they are doing a plant layout change requiring most the CNC equipment to be utilized. They have 2 other programmers and work load calls for 3.

As machines are moved, each one will require a 1st run validation that the part meets all required dimensions. Called a "Prove it". This candidate will likely need to adjust the G&M code of the programs by following the blue prints. They will review the CMM data and ensure it meets dimensional accuracy. Almost all the CNC equipment is 4 axis mills and lathes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves

-4+ years of CNC program editing and minor programming experience

  • G&M Code Programming

  • CMM Data Review

  • 1st run validation experience


  • Bachelors in engineering. Would take someone with technical associates and experience.

  • 5 axis machining
