Job Description

The successful candidate will be an experienced Developer with extensive enterprise background using MS SQL Server. The Development DBA will be required to identify business requirements, develop data models, perform data analysis, write advanced SQL queries, design and code complex stored procedures, and performance tune existing database processes.. As a motivated self-starter, you can identify opportunities for improvement and new ways of leveraging data for the benefit of the business. You will also define and enforce the standards for database development.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and SSIS packages

  • Performance tuning the stored procedures and T-SQL.

  • Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

  • Address negative performance of a particular query, help developers improve the performance of that query by tweaking it or modifying indexes

  • Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance

  • Prepare documentations and specifications

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) is required.

  • 3-5 years developing business applications and database solutions

  • Experience communicating with fast-paced, highly cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders

  • Familiar delivering experience in agile and DevOps environment

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft SQLServer, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL Server Management Studio, and Power Shell

  • Experience with developing SSIS packages

  • Proven analytical problem solving and debugging skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud databases and services is a plus

  • Work in a fast-paced continual learning environment. Requires independent education with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues

  • Ability to translate business objectives into programming initiatives and requirements.
