Minimum Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Current valid State Drivers License.Reliable form of transportationMust own reliable transportation, basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters and a drill), and 6-8 foot ladder.Ability to work on a Tuesday Saturday schedulePreferred at least 1-year alarm installation but not requiredDuties and Responsibilities:Will be upgrading radios from 3G to 5G to ensure current updates are metAbility to understand and apply codes, rules, standards and requirements to meet specifications.Ability to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites on a daily basis, interpret, and design system layout to meet the customer needs.Demonstrates mechanical and technical aptitude according to job level.Ability to interpret location maps, blue prints and schematic drawings.Ability to operate hand and power tools.Basic mathematical aptitude to perform routine calculations.Communication skills including verbal and written skills.Ability to meet minimum company performance standards for productivity, quality, and safety and security enhancements.Ability to logically solve basic to moderately difficult problems with effective solutions and demonstrates troubleshooting techniques.Ability to provide outstanding customer service and establish relationships with customers by gaining their trust.Physical Demands:Required to sit or stand in different positions for long periods.Will climb and stand on ladders for long periods.Operate power tools such as electrical drills, and hand tools such as a screwdriver.Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Frequently crawl, kneel, crouch, or lay down in tight spacesPerks:Will be reimbursed $0.26/ mile up to 600 miles a weekLong term career opportunityEligible for cell phone reimbursementVEVRAA Federal ContractorWe request Priority Protected Veteran and Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the state.We are an equal opportunity employer.
