Cook Medical Calibration/ Maintenance Facilitator in bloomington, Indiana
The primary role of the Calibration/Maintenance Facilitator is to support QMS/BS technical documentation activities for the Calibration and Maintenance programs and other Facilities support functions.
Act as CMMS data guardian; Apply and enforce standards in CMMS systems and procedures.
Add and remove equipment to the equipment hierarchy.
Support management in the scheduling and assigning of work.
Manage work orders in the system, ensure proper creation, planning, update and closure of work orders.
Perform spare parts inventory management and auditing on a regular basis; publish weekly spare part cycle count results to the management team.
Provide software trainings to end users and serve as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
Coach and educate staff on the CMMS functions and best practices.
Review all calibration and maintenance data for completeness and accuracy.
Investigate environmental alarms as well as generate reports and answer data questions.
Create and modify written procedures that are easy to read and follow.
Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of the following: Maintenance Connection, GAGEtrak, Vaisala viewlinc, Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Wordand Outlook.
Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks, prioritize and execute them consistently to a high level of quality.
Experience with data collection, analysis and report generation.
Experience with databases and simple SQL query writing.
Experience teaching and training others how to use software.
Excellent organizational, filing, and record keeping skills.
