The objective of the Procure to Pay (P2P) group is to deliver commercial value and front-to-back cost transparency across the firm. Under the Spend Management umbrella and focused on the front-to-back theme the Procure to Pay team is divided into 3 pillars - Procurement Management, Expense Management and Accounting & Tax Control.


Position Summary

Expense Management Invoicing team’s primary responsibility is to manage invoice payments and exceptions in ERP system. The team handles all exceptions related to Invoice payments, partner with vendors, internal business contacts to ensure appropriate risk and controls are mitigated along the life cycle of invoice payments. Team also has additional responsibilities such as, collaborating with our vendor partner to ensure governance on invoice processing, Monthly engagement with internal clients & credit recoveries for AP.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable Invoicing Process for sensitive/ad-hoc payments

  • Managing day today exceptions related to invoice processing in ERP and ensuring reports are published on regular intervals

  • Ensuring vendor payments are scheduled/released and payments are received for outstanding credits; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

  • Continuing to improve payment process by identifying gaps and efficiencies

  • Work with Business units on payment failures and reduce the risk of failed payments by resolving issues source

  • Working on country specify nuances related toward invoicing to ensure regulatory requirements are met

  • Query management and client responses

  • Be an active participant/contributor to process re-engineering with / without technology changes.

Qualification and Skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work well under pressure

  • Good PC skills (Word, Excel); experience of accounting systems will be added advantage

  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment and positively interact with various levels of management

  • Knowledge on accounts payable, Invoice processing and brief understanding of vendor management.

  • Brief understanding of regional tax requirements of AP (India, EMEA & Americas)

  • Understanding of SWIFT and other payment methodologies

  • ERP experience – SAP, ARIBA, SLP

  • Excellent partnership building skills and strong customer service perspective

  • Excellent communication skills.
