JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Production AssociateDEPARTMENT: Production floorREPORTS TO: Operations ManagerFLSA Status: Hourly / Non-ExemptJOB SUMMARYTo produce product based on manufacturing and customer requirements in all aspects of the production process. This individual is required to inspect product to ensure it meets customer expectations as well as Eva-Lution's Standard Operating Procedures and work Instructions to ensure the production of a quality product. This individual works to achieve the financial, delivery, manufacturing and Quality goals of the company.iESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSi Review all print and customer requirements to manufacture a quality part.i Follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures within the facilityi Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and SPC programs.i Perform dimensional inspections, SPC data collection and First Piece Production approvals on all products to maintain customer requirements, ISO and GMP requirements.i Use, all-types of measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height stands.i Complete and Audit paperwork.i Provide input for continuous improvement.i Improve methods for inspection, machining, and routing. (Lean Processing)i Communicate with quality engineers and manufacturing associates on quality related issues.i Communicate effectively to all levels of supervision regarding quality issues.i As time allows and if required, move around inside and outside of assigned area, and perform various production and inspection tasks as needed to move product.i Adjust to diverse situations. Show flexibility by adjusting work routine, schedule, and priorities in order to meet Eva-Lutionis needs.i Maintain a clean and orderly work area. (5s)i Expand own skills and learn techniques that improve the work unitis results.i Handle difficult situations without necessarily thinking of self i search for and promote the best answer for the business and the work in a team.i Identify problems and work across boundaries with others to provide solutions.i Be flexible in accepting new tasks and new ways of doing things. Adjust work hours to fit production needs.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of:i Reading, comprehension, problem solving, and math skills.i General understanding of Manufacturing ProcessesSkills in:i Goal Orientedi Read and understand drawings and comprehend basic GDandT (preferred)i Use required measuring devices and testing equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands.i Read and follow written procedures and work instructions.i Organize effectively, and complete all paperwork accurately.i Communicate effectively with others and work well under pressure.i Knowledge in ISO, FDA, GMP practicesi Basic computer skills.Ability to:i A high degree of hand-eye coordinationi Lift objects up to 25 pounds throughout the day.i Perform repetitive work more than 8 hours per day and weekends.i Read fine print and distinguish colors.i Visually inspect parts.i Work more than 8 hours per day and weekends.
